Waste minimization and energy efficiency were the focus for the successful sustainable refurbishment of Australia’s first 'green' library, in Oakleigh by Monash Council. New Library Carrels, the Max Task and Skid Base Chairs and Computer Tables were all created to meet the Council’s Architect, Charles Nilsen’s specifications.
